Case Studies: AdvisorAxis, GoLocal, and AdvisorListen, Daniel Joye

Structured case studies by Daniel Joye: client type, problem, approach, compliance and evidence outcomes, and measurable results — with every figure labeled by its source.

AdvisorAxis — Insurance Pipeline Analytics

Client type

Insurance distribution organizations (pilot sites, anonymized)

Problem

Insurance executives could not see where cases were stuck, which were aging into lapse or withdrawal risk, how performance was moving, or what the pipeline meant in premium outcomes. Reporting existed as queue dumps, not decision tools.

Approach

  • Built AdvisorAxis as an insurance pipeline analytics center, owned by Daniel Joye as Product Owner from 2022 to 2025 within the Mindfulware insurance platform practice
  • Designed four executive reporting views: stuck cases, aging risk, performance, and premium outcomes
  • Validated the views through pilot-site case feedback, collected in the official product brief

Compliance and evidence outcomes

  • Official product brief published as a public document (IPAC_v1.pdf)
  • Pilot-site case feedback documented in the brief
  • Reporting method documented publicly on the AdvisorAxis page, including the aging-report steps and evidence-trail practice

Measurable results

  • Reporting views validated through pilot-site case feedback (public document)
  • Four executive reporting views in production use: stuck cases, aging risk, performance, premium outcomes (public document)

GoLocal — SMS Member Self-Service and Analytics

Client type

Labor union local (UA Local 52, named with an attributable testimonial)

Problem

Union members had to call the Hall during business hours for information they needed around the clock. Staff time went to answering routine calls, and leadership had no analytics on member engagement.

Approach

  • Built GoLocal as an SMS member self-service product so members get answers by text instead of calling the Hall
  • Designed it to be simple enough to require no training
  • Added engagement analytics so the local can see how and when members use the service

Compliance and evidence outcomes

  • Attributable client testimonial from the Benefits Administrator at UA Local 52, published with the case study
  • Usage figures come from the client's own statement, quoted verbatim

Measurable results

  • In use for more than four years (client testimonial)
  • Nearly 100 members use it every month, often multiple times, instead of calling the Hall (client testimonial)
  • One-third of all usage happens after hours (client testimonial)

AdvisorListen — Reddit Market Intelligence

Client type

Own product (Daniel Joye); audience is market researchers and financial-services professionals

Problem

Market researchers face a flood of unstructured Reddit conversation that is slow to read and hard to turn into decisions.

Approach

  • Designed and built the data pipeline from Reddit collection to scored insights, 2025–2026
  • Applied NLP and sentiment analysis with topic clustering
  • Defined automated alerts that flag shifts in conversation

Compliance and evidence outcomes

  • The product itself is the evidence: it is live and publicly accessible
  • No usage, accuracy, or revenue figures are published yet — none are claimed here

Measurable results

  • Live, publicly accessible product at advisorlisten.com (live product)
  • Sentiment and topic clustering running on live discussion (live product)
